Description

Screen that displays clinical alerts and details to access more information.


Configuration

Clinical alerts are created or modified in the Settings menu here: Settings / Clinical / Clinical Decision Support. For more information see: Settings / Clinical / Clinical Decision Support

 

Access

Click on the Alerts button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen.


Can't find the Alerts buttonClick on Settingsbutton on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Alerts item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press saveto store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.

 


Sections

  • Alerts: Alerts display window.
  • Alert Filters: Filter between Active Alerts, Inactive Alerts & Show All.
  • Actions: 
    • Inactivate Alert: 

    • Process this alert: Identifies the alert as processed.



  • Details: Displays any references attached to the alert. (Reference links are attached to the alert in the Settings module).
    • Click on any hyperlink to access the reference information on the panel to the right. 


  • Click Ctrl + More Info to access the MedLine Plus content for the reference.


  • Use the language button on the screen to toggle between English and Spanish content.


  • Click on the Printer icon to print the desired information.
