Description

Screen used to create a Plan of Care for the patient. These options are included in Patient Summary (C-CDA). 



Access

Click on the Plan Care button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen.


Can't find the Plan Care button?Click on Settingsbutton on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Plan Care item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press saveto store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.



Sections

  • Goals: Select the goals to be met by the patient. Right click to display the following options:
    • Add: Add new goals. All entries must have a valid SNOMED codes in order for these options to be included when creating a C-CDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture) for exchange. 
    • Edit 
    • Delete
    • Instructions Grid: Displays instructions, date started and target date for each selected goal. Right click to display the following options:
      • Add
      • Edit
      • Delete
  • Plan Summary: Displays the summary for the Plan of Care. Including: 
    • Order Prescriptions
    • Referrals
    • Education Aids
    • Follow Up
