Description

Screen used to document the procedures performed.


Access

Click on the Procedures button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen.  


Can't find the Procedures button?Click on Settingsbutton on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Procedures item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press saveto store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.



Sections

  • Buttons
    • Print: Print the selected procedure.
    • Add: Add a procedure. 
      • Note: If the user adding a procedure is in the "Nurses" group, a provider selection screen will display to select the provider that will perform the procedure. Also, if a template is attached to the procedure, the template will be displayed on the viewer on the right side of the screen.
    • Edit
    • Deactivate
    • Cancel
    • Save
    • Previous: Return to the previous screen.
    • Load Template: Load a procedure template (If created) to document the procedure.
    • Edit Template: Edit the selected template (Edit only applies to the specific instance in which it is being used). Permanent edits must be completed in the Settings module.
    • Change CPT Code
  • Procedures Grid: Displays stored procedures.
  • Procedure Details
    • From: Date started
    • To: Date completed
    • Facility: Place where the procedure was performed.
    • Document Viewer: View the document attached to the procedure or Edit the documentation related to the procedure.
