Description

Screen used to document and store the patient's vital signs.



Access

Click on the Vital Signs Main button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen.  


Can't find the Medication History button: Click on Settingsbutton on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the VItal Signs Main item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press saveto store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.  


 

Click on the Vital Signs section's title, which is a hyperlink to the Vital Signs screen.

    • Pediatric Chart: View screen based on the following charts: Length for Age, Weight for Age and BMI for Age.
    • Add
    • Edit
    • Cancel
    • Save
    • Previous: Return to the previous screen.

    • System: English or Metric.

    • BMI: Body Mass Index
    • Head Circumference
    • Glucose Test:
    • Sp02: Peripheral capillary oxygen saturation percentage of oxygen in blood. 
    • R/Rate: Respiratory Rate
    • Pulse
    • Temp: Temperature 
    • Systolic
    • Diastolic
    • Pain: Pain level
  • Counseling for Nutrition: Select if patient was oriented over nutrition.
  • Counseling for Physical Activity: Select if patient was oriented over physical activity.
