• Go to the "Clinical Records" screen. 

    Select the patient to whom you want to send a referral, for an internal provider of the facility or office, from any section of the screen. 

  • Once the patient is selected, click on the Add Referral button, from the Side Bar section, or from the Search section. 
  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the "Template" of the referral. 


  • Then select the type the "Referral Type". 


  • Select the provider's Specialty.


  • Select the provider to which you will refer the patient, in the Internal Provider section. 


  • Select the internal provider, to which the patient will be referred.  


  • Select the options that correspond to the referral as: "Print Output", "Attach Summary" and "Use eReferral / Direct".


  • Type the reason for the referral, in the Referral Reason field. 


  • Once you have completed the referral, press the Save button, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Then go to the Appointments screen. 
  • Click on the More button located at the the top of screen and select the Internal Referrals option. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 
  • If there were more patients, user can make the search by the referral date, patients name, last name or by the provider referred. 
  • Press a double click over the patient you wish to create the appointment. For example purpose, we selected Juana Del Pueblo, as the patient.


  • If you wish to cancel the notification, click o the Cancel button.


  • This allows to remove the on-screen notification, but not from the "Pending Internal Referrals" screen. 
  • When creating an appointment with the referred provider, it will be removed from the "Pending Internal Referrals" screen.
