There are several options to scan a document.


Option #1 

  • Click on the Patients button, in main menu. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the patient you want to scan a document from.
  • Once the patient is selected, click on the Documents button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Click on the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:

Note: If the screen is "loading...." And it does nothing, check that your computer has a "scanner" connected.

  • The document scan screen, will be displayed:

          

  • Click on the Acquire button, located at the top of the screen.


  • Select Scanner driver to be used and press the OK button.
  • The graphical interface of the Scanner" will be displayed. The interface of each Scanner, may vary according to brands and model.
  • Perform the image analysis and finish the selection process to continue.
  • The scanned image will be displayed.
  • Use any of the options, to modify the image.


  • Click on the Done button.
  • The scanned image will be displayed and must be classified.
  • Select the document type, in the Sub field.


  • Click on the Save button.

  • Select the Sub category, from the list provided. 
  • Enter the title of the scanned document.
  • Enter the description. (This field is optional.)
  • Select the Advanced Directive check box, to identify that the document as an advance directive.

  • Click on the Save button.


Option #2

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen.
  • Select the Patients option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the patient you want to scan a document from.
  • Once the patient is selected, click on the Documents button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Click on the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:

Note: If the screen is "loading...." And it does nothing, check that your computer has a "scanner" connected.
