Description
Screen that stores the education materials given to the patient.
Access
Through the Side Bar section: To access the Education button, click on it in the Side Bar on the Progress Note screen. If the Education button is missing, click the Settings button on the Progress Note screen's toolbar, choose the Side Bar Settings option, then drag and drop the Education item from the right side of the screen into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Afterward, click the Save button to apply the changes. The Side Bar will update, and the Education button will be displayed under the added category.

Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Education option.

Buttons
- Send: Enables the emailing of patient education handouts.
- Print: To open a print preview of the selected document.
- Add: Incorporate educational material into the patient record.
- Deactivate: Deactivate the selected document.
- Previous: Please go back to the previous screen.
- Handouts: Documentation of educational materials provided to the patient.
- Details: This feature displays a preview of the selected document.
Screen sections when adding education materials
Clicking the Add button will open the following screen:
Buttons
- Templates: To open education templates in the Settings module, navigate to Settings, select Clinical, and then Education Handouts. Click on the Templates button in the toolbar to access the templates.
- Other: Please provide any instructions necessary for the patient.
- Education items: The items are displayed under the category and name as designated in the Settings screen, specifically within 'Settings / Clinical / Education Handouts'.
