Description
Screen that stores the education materials given to the patient.
Access
Through the Side Bar section: Click on the Education button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen. Can't find the Education button: Click on Settings button on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Education item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Click on the Save button in order to store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.

Through the Search section: Click on theSearch button located at the left side of screen and then select the Education button.

Buttons
- Send: Allows to send through email the patients education handouts.
- Print: Opens a print preview of the selected document.
- Add: Add education material to the patient record.
- Deactivate: Deactivate the selected document.
- Previous: Return to the previous screen.
- Handouts: Record of stored education materials given to the patient.
- Details: Displays a preview of the selected document.

Pressing the Add button, opens the following screen:
Buttons
- Templates: Opens education templates created in the Settings module. These templates are created here: Settings / Clinical / Education Handouts, then click on the Templates button on the tool bar.
- Other: Free text any instructions needed by the patient.
- Education items: Displayed under the category and name as created in the Setting screen. (Settings / Clinical / Education Handouts).
