Description

Screen where medication prescriptions are created. In it, electronic prescriptions can be sent patient's notification. You can print and create prescriptions templates.  


Access


Through the Side Bar section: Click on the Drug Prescription button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen. 

Through the Medications screen: Click on the Medication List section's title, which is a hyperlink to the Medication History screen, then click on the New Rx button

 Through the Patient Dashboard: Click on the Medication List hyperlink located in the section area on the Advanceed Progress Note screen. 

Through the Search section: Or click on theSearch button located at the left side of screen and then select the Drug Prescription button.

Sections


Buttons

  • Offices: Allows to select the offices that is creating the prescription. 
  • Pharmacy: Opens pharmacy search options.
  • Save As: 
  • Drug Search+: By pressing this button the Search Medication screen will be displayed in order to search medications.

  • Your SIG's:When pressed, a column will be displayed on the right side of the screen, for the configuration of frequent medications.
  • Frequent Settings: Allows you to configure groups for frequent medications.


  • Frequent Drugs: When pressed, a column will be displayed on the right side of the screen, for the configuration of frequent medications. 
  • Save: Allows to save the selected medicines. 
  • Cancel: Returns to the previous screen. 
  • Send eRx: Allows to send the electronic prescription. 
    • Note: To view the status of the prescription, you must go to the Medication History screen, in the section called Prescription History by Medication and go to the Status column.
  • Send +Notify: By pressing, will send the prescription and in turn the patient will receive a notification that the prescription was sent. 
  • Print+Close: Allows to print the prescription and also close the screen. 
  • Save+Close: Stores and close screen.   
    • Note: To see the prescription that has just been saved, it can bee seen in the following areas: 
      • On the Advanced Progress Note screen, in the Side Bar section, select the View Orders button. Or press the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the View Orders option.
      • On the Clinical Records screen, select the patient and then press the View Orders button.
      • On the Appointments screen, select the patient and then press the View Orders button.
      • On the Patients screen, select the patient and then press the button located at the top of the screen and select the View Orders option.
  • Cancel: Closes screen. 


Tabs

  • Patient Chart: By pressing this tab, the Patient Chart screen will be displayed. In this tab the patient's active allergies will be displayed. User can also add selected medications from the patient's medications and the prescription history. 


  • Templates: By pressing this tab, the created medications templates will be displayed. They can be filtered by the users, groups and all templates. 
  • Frequent Drugs: This tab will display the user's frequent medications. User can also select medications in order to create prescription. 

      

Center Screen Options  

  • Add ANY Drug/ Dose From Search: By pressing this option the Search Medications screen will be displayed. 
  • Add with only Clicks from your Favorites: By pressing this option the Frequent Drugs tab will be displayed. 
  • Add a full medication template: By pressing this option the Templates tab will be displayed. 
  • Try Different Dose or Brand from History Medications: By pressing this option the Patient Chart tab will be displayed in order to select a different dose or brand in the patients history medications.
