Description

Screen used to store the information of vaccines administered to the patient.


Access 


Through the Side Bar section: Click on the Immunizations or Immunizations button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen. Can't find the Immunizations buttonClick on Settings button on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen, Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Immunizations item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press the Save button in order to store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added.

Through the Search section: Click on theSearch button located at the left side of screen and then select the Immunizations or Add Allergies button.

Through the Patient Dashboard section: Click on the Immunizations link located in the Patient Dashboard or click on the More button and select the Add Immunizations or Open Full Page option


Sections


Buttons

  • PR Certificate: Allows to print the patient's immunization certificate. 
  • Print: Allows to print the patient's administered immunizations.
  • Deactivate: Deactivate the selected immunization entry.
  • Add: Allows to add a patient's immunization. 
  • Edit: Allows to edit a selected immunization. 
  • Previous: Returns to previous screen.
  • Filters: Display based on: Show Active, Show Removed or Show All.


Pestañas

  • Child and Adolescent Immunizations Schedule Displays the recommended schedule of administration of vaccines for children and adolescents. It is divided by age ranges, from birth to 15 months and then from 18 months to 18 years.
  • Adult Immunization Schedule: Displays the recommended itinerary of administration of adult vaccines, by age range of 19 years and older. 
  • History: Displays the patient's administered immunization history. It allows to visualize the vaccines by the active ones, those that have been removed or all.  

Leyenda (Parte inferior de la pantalla): Shows the legend of what each color means on the vaccine screen. 

  • Child and Adolescente Immunization Schedule:
    • Yellow: Recommended ages for all children. 
    • Green: Recommended age range for recovery vaccines. 
    • Purple: Recommended age range for certain high-risk groups. 
    • Blue: Recommended as clinical decision-making actions or can be used in this age group.
    • Grey: No recommendation / Not applicable. 
  • Adult Immunization Schedule 
    • Yellow: Recommended vaccine for adults who meet age requirements, lack vaccination documentation, or lack evidence of past infection. 
    • Purple: Recommended vaccine for adults with a risk factor additional or other indication. 
    • Blue: Recommended vaccine based on shared clinical decision-making. 

Add / Edit Screen


Vaccine Selection: In this section, the previously configured vaccines are displayed, in the Settings / Clinical / Immunizations screen. 

  • Common Pediatrics: Displays  the common or frequent pediatric vaccines, previously configured.  
  • Common Adult: Displays the common or frequent adult patients vaccines, previously configured. 
  • Office Inventory: Displays the office or emergency room vaccines, previously configured. 
  • Groups: Displays all vaccines by groups.  
    • Show empty CPT Vaccines: When selecting, displays vaccines that do not contain a CPT code. 
    • Include Non Vaccines: When selecting, it displays products that are not classified as vaccines. 


Detail: This section details basic information about administering the vaccine.

  • Vaccine: Displays the selected vaccine in the Vaccines Selection section. 
  • Dosage: Register the administered dose.  
  • Units: Record the type of units of the administered vaccine.  
  • Date Given: The date and time will automatically be populated. If not that day, you can change both. 
  • Date Ended: Select the date the vaccine was finished.
  • Route: Select the method of the administered vaccine.
  • Site: Select the location of the vaccine.
  • Inventory: Displays the office or emergency room have, as configured in the Settings / Clinical / Immunizations screen. 

By: This section details the person who ordered and administered the vaccine among others. 

  • Order By: Select the user that ordered the vaccine. 
  • Administered By: Select the user that administered the vaccine. 
  • Register By: Displays the user who registered the vaccine. 
  • Notes: Area to write some relevant information, to the administered vaccine.

More Information

  • Information Source: It is used to record the source of information, of the administered vaccine. 
    • Note: The option of New immunization record, will be the value by Default, in case the user wants to save the patient's vaccines, he must specify where he obtained the information. 
  • Administration Status: Identify the status of the administration.
    • Note: The Administered option will be the value by Default. Select the other options according to the case: 
      • Refusal: Select this option, when the parents refused, to administer the vaccine.
      • Disease with presumed immunity: This option is selected, when you were not administered the vaccine due to a disorder, if you choose this option, the Evidence Immunity field will be required.
      • Other: This option is selected, when it is for any other reason.
  • VFC (Vaccines for Children) Eligibility Status: Identifies pediatric vaccine status eligibility. 

Patient Handouts Pestaña (Vaccine Information Statement): This section displays relevant information about the vaccine assigned by the CDC.
