Description

Screen where you can see all the patient's progress notes. Displays both open and closed progress notes. 


Access


Through Clinical Records

  • In the main menu, press the “Clinical” button. 
  • Choose the patient from any section of the screen. 
  • Once the patient is selected, press the Past Encounters button located at the top of the screen. 
  • If the patient has open notes, press the right mouse button and select the “Check for Open Progress Notes” option.

Buttons

  • Clinical Task History: When pressed, displays the patient's clinical tasks history screen. 
  • Export: Opens the export progress note options.  Export to a computer drive, in CCDA format or print selected notes.


  • New Clinical Record: Allows you to open a new progress note for the selected patient.


  • Open Selected: Opens the selected progress note.
  • Previous: Returns to the previous screen.


Table grid: Place where all open or closed past encounters will be displayed. 


  • Status: Displays the status of the progress note.
  • Date Start: Displays the date and time when the clinical evaluation of the patient was started. 
  • Date Closed: Displays the date and time when the clinical evaluation of the patient was completed. 
  • Provider Name: Displays the name of the provider who evaluated the patient. 
  • Provider Specialty: Displays the specialty of the provider who attended the patient.
  • Subject: Displays the patient's main reason or complaint.
  • Addendum: If the evaluation has an addendum note, you can click on the button. 


  • Discharge Summary: When pressed, displays the patient's discharge summary screen. 


  • Template: Displays the “Template” used in the clinical evaluation. 


Filters: 

  • Filter by Date: By “Default”, only one year's progress notes will be displayed. To see more meetings, modify these dates. 
  • Filter by Provider: Allows to filter screen, through selected providers. 
  • Filter by Criteria: Allows to perform filters with search of information stored in the “Chief Complaint”.
  • Filter by Diagnosis:  Allows filtering by diagnoses.
  • Reset Filter: Clears all search criteria.
