Description
Screen used to configure the most frequently prescribed medication by provider.
Access
From Settings
- Click on the Settings Module in the Main Menu screen.
- Select the Clinical button and then select the Frequent Medications button.
From Quicklinks
- Click on QuickLinks text in the Main Menu located at the top of screen.
- Then select the Settings option. Once in the Settings screen, select the Clinical button and click on the Frequent Medications.
Sections
Botones
- Your SIG's: Section where the user configures the instructions that will appear when a drug is selected.
Frequent Drugs: When selected, frequent medications will be displayed.
- Save: When pressed, it saves the configured information.
- Previous: When pressed, it will close the screen.
- Search: Section where the medication search is performed.
- Full DrugFile: Section where the list of options for the selected drug is displayed.
- Frequent: Section where frequent medications of the selected provider will be displayed. The following fields can be configured:
- Drug: Name of medication.
- Dose/Route: Route by which the medication will be administered.
- Dosage Form: Dosage form of medication.
- SIG: Instructions that will be displayed when the drug is selected.
- Quantity: Amount of medication to be taken.
- Days Supply: Number of days of medication supply.
- Refill: Number of refills allowed for that medication.
- G/B: Displays whether the medication is a brand name or generic.
What is it used for?
Frequent medications are used, in the Search Medications screen, by pressing the Frequent Drugs button, located at the top of the screen.
