There are several options to create appointments for new patients.


 Option #1

  • In the Appointment screen verify that the provider that wants to add an appointment is selected by pressing the Provider button.
    • Note: If any provider does not appear in the list, check the Accepts Appointments options in the Staff & Providers screen of the provider.
  • Select the appointment date.
  • Click twice over the appointment time. 

           

  • The Appointment Detail screen, will be displayed:


  • Write the patient's name, last name, record number, SSN, contract number or phone. 


  • Once you have typed the patient's name, select the New Patient box. 


  • Select the appointment type, in the Type field.
    • Note: To configure the options in this sections, go to Appointment / Settings and press the Appt Types buttons. Once option is added, remember to exit the Appointment screen and open again to display the selected new option.

  •  Select the appointment date.


  • Identify the patient's location, in the Appointment Detail screen. This allows to monitor the time patient is in each observation room.
    • Note: To configure the options in this sections, go to Appointment / Settings and press the Rooms button. Once option is added, remember to exit the Appointment screen an open again to display the selected option.
  • Enter the patient's mobile number. 


  • In order to upgrade your health plan card, click on the Zoom Insurance Plan button. 


  • The image of the patient's health plan card, will be displayed.


  • Write a note related to the patient's appointment, in the Appointments Notes section. (This note is only visible, on the Appointments screen.)  

  • In the same way, you can write a note related to the patient. (You can see this note, from the Patient Details screen.)

  • Click on the Save & Close button, to save the appointment and close the screen. 


Option #2

  • Go to the Appointments screen.
  • Note: If you are not the provider on the screen, for whom the patient's appointment will be created, click on the View Resources button, located at the top of the screen and select the Providers tab and then select the provider(s).
  • Note: If any provider does not appear in the list, you must check the Accepts Appointments option, on the Staff & Providers screen, of that provider.
  • Select the appointment date.
  • Select the appointment time and press the right mouse button on it.
  • Select the New Appointment option.
  • You can also double-tap on the appointment time. Or press Ctrl+N on your keyboard.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Enter the name of the new patient.


  • Once you have typed the patient's name, select the New Patient box.


  • Select the appointment type, in the Type field. 
  • Note: To configure the options in this section, you will need to go to Appointment / Settings and press the button of Appt. Types. Once you add the option, you will need to exit the Appointments screen and enter again, for the new option to be displayed.

  • If necessary, change the date.


  • On the Appointment Detail screen, identify the patient's location. This allows to verify the time that the patient was, in each evaluation room.
  • Note: To configure the options in this section, you will need to go to Appointment / Settings and press the Rooms button. Once you add the option, you must exit the Appointments screen and enter again, so that the new option appears.
  • Enter the patient's phone number.


  • In order to upgrade your health plan card, press the Zoom Insurance Plan button.


  • The image of the patient's health plan card will be displayed.

  • Write a note related to the patient's appointment, in the Appointments Notes section. (This note is only visible, on the Appointments screen.) 

  • In the same way, you can write a note related to the patient. (You can see this note, from the Patient Details screen.)

  • Click on the Save & Close button, to save the appointment and close the screen.
