Description

This functionality is a collaboration between E-Health Partners, inc. and MisResultados, Inc. Clinical lab orders created in EHRez (if activated) will be transmitted electronically and lab results will be automatically inserted into the patient record.

How does it work?

Once configured and activated in our e-Labs network, the process is as follows:

  • Step 1: A Lab Order is created by the physician for the patient.
  • Step 2: Once the order is stored into the patient record, an electronic file (HL7 format) is uploaded into the MisResultados, inc. cloud database.
  • Step 3: The order must be printed and provided to the patient.
  • Step 4: The patient visits a clinical lab of their choosing.**
  • Step 5: The clinical lab downloads the order from MisResultados, performs the ordered tests and uploads the results into the cloud database.
  • Step 6: Once available, the results are automatically matched to the order created by the provider. The results are matched to the patient record and the provider is alerted to available electronic results.  


Electronic lab results are displayed in the Patient Results segment of the Orders screen. Double asterisks "**" to the left of the order denotes that the results were received electronically.
