Description

Used to perform medication searches.


Access 


Through the Side Bar section: Click on the Medication History button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen. Can't find the Medication History button: Click on Settings button on the toolbar of the Progress Note screen. Select the Side Bar Settings option. Select the Medication History item from the available items area on the right side of the screen and drag/drop into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Press the Save button in order to store the change. The Side Bar panel will refresh and the button will appear under the category where it was added. Then click on the Add+ button located at the top of screen. 

Through the Search section: Click on theSearch button located at the left side of screen and then select the Medication History button. Then click on the Add+ button located at the top of screen.

Through the Patient Dashboard section: Click on the Medication List link located in the Patient Dashboard or click on theAdd button and select the Open Full Page option. Then click on the Add+ button located at the top of screen.


Sections

  • Drugs by Name or Ingredient(s): Area in order to search for medications. 

Buttons

  • Your Sigs: Opens the Sigs window to add or edit pre-configured sig notes.
  • Frequent Settings: Allows user to classify the frequent medication by categories.
  • Frequent Drugs: Displays medication marked as favorite.

  • Check Interactions: (If authorized) Control the desired level of interactions checking (from severe to low) for all categories (Drug-Drug, Drug-Condition, Drug-Allergy).
  • Full Drug File: Displays search results.
  • Selected Medications: Displays the medication selected by the provider.
